We shall see whether or not I can manage to get this first one out without the computer imploding.
A few words about me.
*** I'm based in Brisbane, Australia. For those overseas visitors, no, it's nowhere near Sydney. Head about 12 hours north and you're getting close. It's a sunny, lovely place that has shed its backwater image in the last five years and emerged like a beautiful butterfly as a cosmopolitan city.
*** I am becoming slightly obsessed with making brooches and earrings. I love working with felt, beads, embroidery, and vintage materials. Most are in bright colours because that's what I like best - makes sense, no?
*** Please feel free to visit, browse, leave comments etc. I'm always open to requests for custom items too.
*** For your viewing pleasure I have decided to attach the latest three additions to my shop.

Solaris Wrap Earrings: Sunny coloured wrap earrings to make your earlobes grin.

Sea Urchin Brooch: More paper and felt art with dangly sea tentacles.
*** I'm a proud member of the Down Under Style Team (DUST) www.dustteam.com
which features an amazing array of Australian crafters and artisans. Fabulous stuff there - definitely worth checking out.
*** Also worth a rowdy round of applause is the Etsy Brisbane Street Team, or BrisStyle. http://brisstyle.blogspot.com/
More incredible talent here, all of it from sunny Brisbane and surrounds. Check out their blog for details of the market this Saturday - endorsed by the fat man in the red suit himself as a top place to buy Christmas pressies.
